The Secret Vintage Tea Garden
Tucked away behind Bow Ties cafe is The Secret Vintage Tea Garden with the indoor Victorian Parlour. It’s just perfect for morning coffee with home made cake, a delicious light lunch, or afternoon tea with all the trimmings. It is served with a smile, using traditional, vintage china which has the charm of days gone by.
Come into the cafe and we’ll direct you through. Everyone is welcome, including (and especially!) the dog. We love our canine visitors here at Bow Ties, believing that they deserve a treat too. They might even be lucky enough to receive a complimentary sausage.
The outside space is filled with interesting artefacts of a vintage and retro nature. Sit comfortably away from the traffic and enjoy the relaxed ambience within this sheltered garden. Listen carefully and you might even hear the local parrot exercising his vocal chords.
You can reserve a table in advance if you wish. Or just drop in and enjoy the experience when you are passing. You will receive a warm welcome and a touch of luxury. There’s definitely more to Bow Ties than meets the eye!
Inside the Victorian Parlour it is shady, warm and sheltered, with chandeliers providing elegance, together with vintage pictures, authentic furniture and even a marble-style fireplace.
This unique, cosy space is perfect for private parties. But it is also available for general use for those who prefer a little privacy within charming surroundings.
